I'm a model railroader and a railfan.  My favorite prototype is the Western Maryland Railway, a fallen flag that had a route leading through some of the most interesting terrain in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  This section includes prototype information and photos, a bibliography and information on my layout, workshop and models.

Once in a while I managed to snag photos of CSX, MARC, or Maryland Midland equipment. When I do, I include them here as well.

Melissa and I have taken photos of many of the mid-atlantic region wild and backyard birds (Jays, Flickers, Woodpeckers, Titmouses, Doves, Sparrows, Wrens, Finches, Chickadees, Thrushes, Hummingbirds etc.) for display on the site.

I enjoy playing games almost as much as I like to write them. As I create new games, I've been adding them to the games section of the site. If you like Tetris or similar games, be sure to check out Pete-tris.

Most every section of this site is filled with photographs taken with my Olympus C3000Z digital camera and numerous accessory lenses, and my wife's Panasonic Lumix FZ-10 digital camera. In addition, I have a section on digital photography that provides a bit of information about what I have found to work best with this equipment.
