BSME Custom Run Boxcar (Intermountain)

This is a nice little ready-to-run custom boxcar.  The detailing and printing are both really good.  The car was built by Intermountain for the Baltimore Society of Model Engineers (BSME).  I purches the four cars in July and August 2003.

As pointed out by the president of the BSME, the only discrepancy is the size of the door.  However, it would have cost the BSME $10,000 more to have a boxcar with a larger door.

I have four of these.

Here is the photo from the BSME site.  I think it captures the detail and actual color better than my photo.

You can visit the BSME site here.
