I thought it would be really useful if I catalogued all the books, magazine
articles and links I've found relating to the Western Maryland Railway.
This is a bibliography of WM-related materials, if you will. This page lists
only web sites.
If you know of a website that has useful information on the Western Maryland,
please email the WebMaster at this address:
. All websites will be evaluated for appropriate content before being added to
this list. Commercial sites will get extra scrutiny :-)
A Aubrey Bodine Photos |
| Site contains : Photographs of Steam and Diesel Locomotives, Bridges, Yards and
Workers
|
| From Jennifer Bodine:
In 1952 the Western Maryland Railway Story was published. This volume has been
considered to be in a class by itself in the annals of railroad history. A.
Aubrey Bodine was the photographer who produced the contemporary photographs
published therein.
His daughter, Jennifer, has developed a website with Bodine’s photographs,
including his unsurpassed train pictures. Bodine’s images are now available as
digitally restored reprints and note cards.
www.AAubreyBodine.com contains 4000 posted images with more to be posted
shortly. A special link of Bodine’s railroad pictures, including those of the
Western Maryland Railway, is available at the above link.
Please visit our website and see the beauty of trains that Bodine captured with
his incomparable eye.
