Layout Construction

Here are photos of layout room before any construction was done.

If you're a model railroader, be sure to drop me a note in my guestbook.

June 21, 2003 - Empty Room

Room as Seen from the Door  The wood under the window was a bench of sorts that the previous owner had constructed under that window.  It was easy enough to remove.

Room seen from the far corner.  The outlet next to the power outlet on the right is one of my structured wiring wall plates.  It will enable me (if I so choose later) to easily have a networked PC in this room for control or camera.  The double-doors are a closet.  Obviously lighting will be interesting in this room.  I purchased some low-voltage halogen track lighting that I might try out - hopefully it doesn't get too hot!
